Cooperation Agreement Signed

Łukasiewicz – Institute of Aviation and PCO S.A. have established a cooperation framework in the field of composite technologies.

Łukasiewicz – Institute of Aviation and PCO S.A. have signed an agreement initiating cooperation discussions in the area of composite technologies. This is a first step towards combining the expertise of the Łukasiewicz Institute and Poland’s largest manufacturer of optoelectronic products.

Łukasiewicz – Institute of Aviation delivers technological solutions and conducts comprehensive research programmes on high-strength composite materials. The institute also operates a certified composite testing laboratory and has access to advanced equipment for the fabrication of composite structures.

Dr Eng. Paweł Stężycki, Director of the Łukasiewicz – Institute of Aviation, stated: ‘We are a leader in the field of composite technology research. We are pleased to join forces with such a highly regarded partner as PCO S.A.’

Marek Adamiak, President of the Management Board of PCO S.A., added: ‘The agreement will enable the use of composite materials with superior mechanical, thermal or chemical properties compared to aluminium and steel in PCO S.A. products. This will allow us to create lighter and more durable solutions and shorten prototype development time.’

The agreement was signed on 3 February 2025 at the headquarters of PCO S.A. in Warsaw.
