Innovation Laurel Award
On 26 October 2023, during the official gala of the Stanisław Staszic Competition, PCO S.A. was awarded the BRONZE INNOVATION LAUREL for its project ‘GN-1MD Night Vision Goggles.’ The award was received on behalf of PCO S.A. by the company’s Commercial Director, Dr Zygmunt Mogiła-Lisowski. The GN-1MD night vision goggles are designed for observation in night-time and low-visibility conditions. They also enable the visualisation of parameters provided by external devices, such as geographical position, magnetic heading, distance to target and more. The key component of the goggles, housed in one of the monoculars, is a high-performance image intensifier integrated with a microdisplay capable of presenting graphic symbols. The goggles can be integrated with a flip-up mounting system and fitted to a helmet.
