Members of the Parliamentary National Defence Committee visit PCO S.A.
On 24 January 2023, PCO S.A. hosted a visit by Members of Parliament serving on the Parliamentary National Defence Committee. They were accompanied by Mr Paweł Sobczyk, Director of the Strategic Projects Department at the Ministry of State Assets, and Mr Krzysztof Sola, Vice-President of the Management Board of PGZ S.A. During the visit, the MPs were presented with information on the structure and operations of PCO S.A., along with a multimedia presentation outlining the company’s product portfolio and development plans. The members of the Committee were then given a tour of the company’s main production departments, where they learned about the key processes involved in the manufacture of optoelectronic equipment. The tour included visits to the Optics, Mechanical and Assembly Departments, as well as the Test Station. The final stop on the production floor was the darkroom tunnel, used for testing night vision and thermal imaging equipment. The MPs also had the opportunity to take a closer look at PCO S.A.’s products during a dedicated equipment demonstration. The visit provided the members of the Parliamentary National Defence Committee with a valuable opportunity to gain deeper insight into the company’s profile and its optoelectronic solutions, and to engage in discussion about the future of Polish optoelectronics in the defence industry.
