OPTOELECTRONIC HEADS
Optoelectronic heads are designed for use in systems for detection, observation, tracking, and targeting of ground and aerial targets under both daylight and night-time conditions. The heads consist of integrated optoelectronic modules mounted on two-axis stabilised platforms. These are highly advanced technological products, featuring a range of functional capabilities that enable seamless integration with fire control systems or weapon modules, including anti-aircraft systems. They allow for the configuration and integration of various optoelectronic sensors in accordance with the user’s individual requirements, including thermal imaging cameras in different spectral bands, television cameras, and laser rangefinders. They also provide precise target tracking through the use of video trackers.
PCO also offers imaging heads designed for anti-tank guided missiles, intended as a component of the missile guidance system. These heads are engineered to acquire and track both stationary and moving ground targets in daytime, night-time, and limited visibility conditions.
