The PCT-72 periscopic thermal imaging sight is designed to identify and track targets in day and night time as well as in low-visibility conditions without revealing the tank’s position.

The PCT-72 periscopic thermal vision sight can be used on all T-72 family tanks, replacing the previously used TPN-1-23-11 night vision sight.
An optional armoured housing for the periscope head, which meets the resistance requirements for STANAG level 2, can be included in the set.
The PCT-72 periscopic thermal vision sight includes:
- KLW-1 thermal imaging camera.
- Periscopic head with pantograph adapter.
- MD-1 gunner’s display screen with cantilever and head protection.
- MFM-2 multifunction display (commander).
- Electric harnesses.
- Mounting rings.
