NIGHT VISION GOGGLES
Night Vision Goggles – What Are They?
Night vision goggles are devices that enable observation in low-light conditions. They can be used by individual infantry soldiers, drivers, and – in the aviation night vision goggles version – by helicopter crews. As a leading Polish manufacturer of optoelectronic equipment, PCO S.A. offers a wide range of night vision devices, including night vision goggles.
The night vision goggles manufactured by the company meet all the requirements of the modern battlefield, enabling long-range observation and target detection, along with high image quality. They preserve the natural shapes and sizes of the observed scene. Due to a rigorous testing procedure, they also offer reliability and durability in field conditions, including resistance to extreme temperatures and harsh weather.
Modern Technology
Thanks to the use of advanced aspheric optics, the latest models of night vision goggles and aviation night vision goggles are lighter and smaller than previous devices.
The MU-3M night vision monoculars manufactured by PCO S.A. can be integrated with other devices such as firearm sights – for example, CK-3 collimator sights or DCM-1 modular day sights – forming a night vision targeting system. They are characterised by low power consumption. MU-3M monoculars can also be used together with the ClipIR thermal clip-on, enabling observation in fusion mode, which combines night vision and thermal images.
Night vision goggles and aviation night vision goggles produced by PCO S.A. are compatible with various types of helmets, reflecting the company’s responsiveness to user needs and feedback. Battery placement and the ability to fold the goggles when not in use ensure ease of operation due to ergonomic and functional design solutions.
The company also offers PNL-3M aviation night vision goggles for civil users, including helicopter emergency services or air ambulance crews. These goggles can be powered both by batteries and aircraft electrical systems. The PNL-3M aviation night vision goggles are certified by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), enabling their use in civil aviation.
The night vision goggles produced by PCO S.A. are used by the Polish Armed Forces as well as other uniformed services. Their versatility allows them to be tailored to customer needs.
