On 30 March 2022 PCO S.A. was visited by students from the School Complex No. 1 in Olkusz training there to become mechatronics technicians. Students were presented with a lecture by the Chief Technologist of PCO S.A., and then they were shown around the company. They could see up close all stages of production, one by one.
Mechatronics technician is a new, interdisciplinary profession. Students training in this field acquire broad general knowledge and skills in mechanics, electrical engineering, electronics and programming. Mechatronics technician deals with designing, assembly, maintenance, diagnostics and repair of electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic machines and devices used in modern automated production and assembly lines.
