Two cooperation agreements were signed during the second day of the International Defence Industry Exhibition.
The first was a Memorandum of Understanding with REB Technologies Inc. (USA) concerning cooperation in the joint offering in foreign markets of PNL-3M Night Vision Air Goggles manufactured by PCO S.A. and services for the modernisation of helicopters and airframes for the use of night vision devices as well as flight training in night vision goggles offered by REB Technologies Inc.
REB Technologies Inc. is among the world leaders in the segment of helicopter and aircraft retrofit services for night vision goggle flight. Founded in 1996, the company has upgraded around 650 aircraft to date and holds US and European certification to implement modifications to 28 different types of flying platforms, specialising mainly in Bell Helicopters and Airbus Helicopters. In addition, it has carried out modifications to a number of military aircraft (including C-130, F-16, F-18) and helicopters (including AH-64, AH-1, UH-60, Mi-8, Mi-17).
The second agreement signed is a Memorandum of Understanding with Defence Solutions G.T. (UAE) on cooperation regarding optoelectronic training provided at PCO S.A. for representatives of the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces (UAE SZ). In 2021, PCO S.A., together with Defence Solutions G.T., delivered the first pilot training for representatives of the elite Presidential Guard that is part of the UAE Armed Forces. Further, more advanced training is planned from next year.
