On 21 November, a contract signing ceremony took place between PCO S.A. and WB Electronics S.A. for the delivery of GOD-1 and GOC-1 optoelectronic warheads for the ZSSW-30 remotely controlled turret system. The unmanned turret will equip the Rosomak 8×8 combat vehicles.

– Today’s agreement is one of the key ones for PCO S.A.. As a company with experience, we hope that thanks to the contract, we, and the other participants of the consortium under the aegis of the Polish Armaments Group will receive much larger orders in the future. The Borsuk Combat Infantry Vehicle will soon enter mass production and we want to be part of this programme. – said Witold Słowik, President of PCO S.A.

– The two optoelectronic sets PCO S.A. ordered can compete with their foreign counterparts. They ensure high image clarity and uniformity. The technologies used in GOD-1 and GOC-1 are the result of national work to ensure the safety and effectiveness of Polish soldiers,” stressed Witold Słowik.

The Commander’s Stabilised Optoelectronic Warhead is a high-tech observation system. It features solutions that allow the GOD-1 to be easily integrated into any combat platform. The design allows the warhead to be used on a variety of land vehicles for detection, reconnaissance, identification of ground and air targets.

The Stabilised Gunner Optoelectronic Warhead is designed for use in detection, observation, tracking and targeting systems against ground and airborne targets in daylight and night conditions. The GOC-1 consists of an integrated optoelectronic module mounted on a biaxially stabilised carrier platform.
