On 24 January 2023, the headquarters of PCO S.A. hosted MPs – members of the Parliamentary Committee on National Defence. They were accompanied by Mr Paweł Sobczyk – Director of the Strategic Projects Department at the Ministry of State Assets and Mr Krzysztof Sola – Vice President of the Management Board of PGZ S.A.
During the visit, MPs were presented with information on the activities and structure of PCO S.A., as well as a multimedia presentation, which familiarised the guests with the Company’s offer and development plans.
Afterwards, the SKON members were shown around the most important production departments, learning about the main processes of creating optoelectronic products. Amongst others, the guests visited the optics, mechanical, assembly and test station departments. The final point of the tour of the production part of the plant was the tunnel-darkroom for noctovision and thermal imaging tests. MPs were also able to get a closer look at the PCO S.A. products themselves by watching a prepared equipment demonstration.
The visit to the PCO S.A. headquarters was an opportunity for MPs from the National Defence Committee of the Sejm to learn more about the Company’s business profile and its optoelectronic products, as well as to discuss the future of Polish optoelectronics in the defence industry.
